Suppressing militancy: Three alleged militants caught
Gul Zareen hosted the other two men who came from Waziristan’s Kot Kai area
HYDERABAD:
Jamshoro police arrested three suspected terrorists affiliated with the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) from different locations on Wednesday. Around 10 kilogrammes of chemicals and explosive materials, five hand grenades and four pistols were recovered, claimed SSP Tariq Wilayat. They were identified as commander Shahuddin and his associates, Gul Zareen and Bahauddin. During interrogation, they revealed their involvement in terrorist attacks and robberies in Karachi, and claimed affiliation with the Shahryar group of the TTP. Gul Zareen hosted the other two men who came from Waziristan’s Kot Kai area. Shahuddin is said to be an expert in preparing mines and improvised explosives and Bahauddin is an alleged extortionist in Karachi.
