Britney Spears’ late-night drive sparks concern amid fallout from Kevin Federline’s memoir
A late-night video of Britney Spears behind the wheel has raised concern

A new video obtained by the Daily Mail shows Britney Spears driving erratically after leaving a restaurant in Thousand Oaks, California, on Thursday night.
The footage surfaced as reports claim the pop star is “spiraling” following the release of ex-husband Kevin Federline’s tell-all memoir, You Thought You Knew.
Witnesses told the outlet that Spears, 43, appeared agitated and “nearly ran over her friend while pulling out” of the parking lot before swerving into oncoming lanes and briefly tailgating another vehicle on her way home. The singer reportedly struggled to open her estate gate, attempting multiple times before gaining entry.
Sources cited by the Daily Mail said the Toxic singer has been “in a tailspin” since Federline’s memoir resurfaced painful memories of their relationship and divorce. “She’s spiraling. It’s reopening old wounds,” one insider claimed.
Federline’s book, released on October 20, makes several allegations about their past marriage, including claims about Spears’ behavior while their sons were young. The former dancer also wrote that her “erratic behavior” was worse than what the public saw.
Spears has publicly denied his claims, accusing Federline of “constant gaslighting” and profiting off her name. “Those white lies in that book are going straight to the bank, and I am the only one who genuinely gets hurt here,” she wrote on X.
Reps for Spears have not commented on the recent video.
