Manon Bannerman has addressed fan concerns after her noticeable absence from promotional content for KATSEYE’s upcoming single “Pinky Up,” offering reassurance about her well-being amid ongoing speculation.

The HYBE and Geffen Records girl group recently launched a teaser campaign for “Pinky Up,” set to release on April 9. However, fans quickly noticed that Manon was missing from the visuals, which featured only five members. The situation intensified after she removed “katseye” from her Instagram bio, fueling questions about her status in the group.

In response, Manon shared a message via Weverse, thanking fans for their support and confirming that she is “happy and healthy.” She also noted that she is in “positive conversations” with her agency, adding that she will share more updates soon. The statement aligns with an earlier announcement from HYBE and Geffen in February, confirming her temporary hiatus to focus on her health and well-being.

Despite her absence, KATSEYE has continued activities as a five-member group, actively promoting and performing at major festivals including Lollapalooza Argentina, Lollapalooza Chile, and Estéreo Picnic in Colombia.

The timing of the teaser rollout has drawn additional attention, as the single drops just one day before KATSEYE’s scheduled debut performance at Coachella on April 10. Whether Manon will rejoin the group for the high-profile event remains unclear.

“Pinky Up” follows the group’s successful single “Internet Girl,” which marked a breakthrough on global charts, further cementing KATSEYE’s rising presence in the international pop scene.
