Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka is expected to miss up to four weeks after sustaining a hamstring injury in Saturday’s 5-0 home win against Leeds United.

The 23-year-old is set to miss Arsenal’s upcoming Premier League clash at Liverpool, as well as England’s World Cup qualifiers against Andorra and Serbia next month.

Saka was withdrawn in the 53rd minute after scoring Arsenal’s second goal, with initial assessments indicating he could be sidelined for up to a month.

The news is particularly sensitive for Arsenal fans, as Saka missed three months of last season with a similar injury.

Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard is also a doubt for the Liverpool match after suffering a shoulder injury in the same game.

The Norway international appeared to be in pain when substituted and reportedly left Emirates Stadium with his shoulder in a sling.

Arsenal remain hopeful that neither Saka nor Odegaard will face long-term absence.

Despite these setbacks, Arsenal boast a deeper attacking pool this season, including new signings Viktor Gyokeres, Noni Madueke, and Eberechi Eze.

Manager Mikel Arteta also has Gabriel Martinelli, Leandro Trossard, Ethan Nwaneri, and Max Dowman available to cover for the injured stars.
