Tottenham Hotspur have intensified their efforts to sign 20-year-old midfielder Nico Paz from Serie A club Como 1907.
After an initial €50 million bid was rejected, Spurs increased their offer to €70 million, including add-ons.
However, Como has firmly declined the proposal, holding out for a €70 million base fee, aligning with their valuation of the player.
Paz, who joined Como from Real Madrid in August 2024, has been a standout performer, contributing 6 goals and 9 assists in 35 Serie A appearances during the 2024/25 season .
Real Madrid retains a €10 million buy-back clause for the player, which could influence any potential transfer negotiations.
Despite Tottenham's increased bid, Como remains steadfast in their valuation, and Paz's future appears set to remain at the Italian club for the time being .
