TDCP to mark World Tourism Day

Prizes would be distributed to participants

MULTAN:

The Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) will organise various awareness programmes to commemorate World Tourism Day on September 27th.

Deputy Manager TDCP Dera Ghazi Khan Sheikh Ijaz said on Thursday said that awareness programmes on the promotion of tourism would be conducted at all resorts across the province.

He added that a painting competition for students would also be held at the Tourism Facilitation Centre (TFC) in DG Khan on the same day.

The TDCP official further said that they had selected a government school for the competition, which would focus on historical buildings such as Fort Derawar, Shah Rukn-e-Alam tomb, Syed Salman Shah tomb and others.

Prizes would be distributed to participants. Likewise, an awareness rally will also be taken out with students to promote tourism in the country, the official concluded.
