Mausummery Textiles has initiated a sponsorship programme for deserving and needy students at Marium Dawood School of Visual Arts and Design (SVAD) at Beaconhouse National University (BNU).

Mausummery Textiles Chief Operating Officer, Mansoor Nawaz, said that his firm wanted to play its role in developing and strengthening the skill set of students at the Textile and Fashion Design Department, providing them with platforms like competitions and exhibitions where they can demonstrate their creative talent. He said that the winning designs in those competitions would be included in the Mausummery Design Series. Mausummery Textiles CEO Ayesha Pervez handed a cheque for Rs287,000 to SVAD Dean, Prof Dr Salima Hashmi.  She also showed an interest in reviving the collection of rare prints and motifs, showcased at the Lahore Museum.
