Syndicate gives approval to proposal of regularising services of 105 employees from grade 1 to 5

LAHORE: The syndicate also gave approval to the proposal of regularising the services of 105 employees from grade 1 to 5 with five years of service. The syndicate, while taking up the case of directorship of Institute of Geology, decided to restore Dr Shahid Sameeni as the director at Institute of Geology. The syndicate also confirmed the appointment of Dr Farah Malik as director of the Institute of Applied Psychology and set aside the representation of Dr Saima Dawood against her. The syndicate also approved the appointment of Dr Sajid Rasheed as controller of examinations.

The syndicate has also approved recommendations of the Selection Board made at its various meetings. The syndicate ordered to proceed against Dr Shahid Ghazi under the Punjab Employees Efficiency, Discipline and Accountability (PEEDA) Act for his alleged involvement in administrative and financial irregularities.
