Accident: 4 killed, 38 injured in bus crash

Four devotees killed and 38 others were injured in Rajanpur.

RAJANPUR: Four devotees were killed and 38 others were injured in Rajanpur after a bus crashed into a tractor near Jampur on Sunday.

According to police officials, a bus carrying devotees from a shrine in Faisalabad was heading to Kot Mithan when it collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction. Four passengers were killed on impact and sixteen are critically injured.

The injured passengers were shifted to a nearby DHQ hospital. Hospital sources said that they discharged several patients but many were still in critical condition.

Police officials have registered a case against the tractor driver and taken him into custody.
