SUKKUR: The Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU) Khairpur has decided to start classes for the next academic year from April 15. During a meeting on Monday, officials also agreed to organise an orientation session for new students on April 18, where they will be provided information about the varsity’s rules and regulations.

Every department will be responsible for preparing their academic calendar, which would list details of the conferences, seminars, symposiums and co-curricular activities they plan to conduct in the year.

SALU will release results of the nearly 70,000 students who sat their annual examinations this year after one month.

SALU vice chancellor Prof. Dr Parveen Shah told officials that three study centres will be established in Sukkur, Larkana and Naushero Feroze, where students will be able to enroll in BBA and MBA programmes, as well as take computer science classes.
