PDP calls for awareness campaigns

KARACHI:

Pasban Democratic Party Karachi Chief Organiser Tariq Chandiwala has expressed concern over the alarming rise in monkeypox cases across Karachi and the rest of Sindh. He warned that the situation has reached a critical level, demanding immediate attention.

Chandiwala urged the Sindh government to take urgent, practical, and effective measures to prevent further spread of the disease. He called for an immediate increase in hospital facilities, establishment of isolation wards, proper training of medical staff, and wider access to testing for early diagnosis.

He also stressed the need for strict enforcement of precautionary measures at public places and the launch of a comprehensive awareness campaign to help citizens protect themselves and their families.
