Incumbency advantage: PIMA awards president new two-year term

KARACHI: The Pakistan Islamic Medical Association (PIMA) reelected Dr Salman Ghauri as president till 2014 on Tuesday. He was the body’s president from 2010.

The elections were carried out through secret balloting on June 30. During his oath-taking ceremony, Ghauri, who works as a cardiologist at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases, thanked PIMA members for their support during the last two years.
