Taylor Frankie Paul is expected to remain part of Hulu’s The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives despite ongoing legal proceedings involving the reality star.

According to TMZ, a source at Hulu said the streamer continues to support Paul and expects her to participate in the reality series. A source close to Paul also told the outlet that Hulu has worked with the MomTok personality for four years and remains supportive of her.

The development comes after ABC cancelled plans for Paul to appear as the lead of The Bachelorette. The decision followed the publication of video showing Paul throwing a barstool at her former boyfriend Dakota Mortensen while one of her children was reportedly present.

Paul has since faced legal issues involving custody of her children. Her former partners include Mortensen and ex-husband Tate Paul.

Utah’s Department of Children and Family Services has also asked a juvenile court to determine whether Paul’s three children are abused, neglected or dependent and to order protective supervision, according to TMZ. The allegations and legal proceedings remain ongoing.

Paul became widely known through MomTok, a social media community of Mormon mothers and influencers, before joining the cast of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. The Hulu reality series follows Paul and other members of the MomTok community as they navigate relationships, family matters and their careers in the public eye.

Paul’s legal situation has also affected her television career. Her planned appearance on The Bachelorette was cancelled before filming, but the latest report indicates that her future on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives remains unchanged for now.

Neither Hulu nor Paul has publicly announced any change to her status on the reality series. Her ongoing legal proceedings could continue to be addressed on the show as the cast’s personal lives remain a central part of its story.
