Couple go on rampage after being denied passage

Harass car occupants, smash window over traffic dispute

KARACHI:

In a road rage incident, a couple damaged a car and harassed its occupants after their request for passage was denied amid traffic congestion in PECHS block 6.

The incident occurred within the Ferozabad police limits on May 20, and a video of the incident has recently surfaced.

The video shows a man and a woman becoming enraged after being denied passage. The man allegedly harassed a family sitting inside a car and smashed its windows.

The affected citizen, Waseem Cheema, filed a complaint at Ferozabad police station, stating that he was travelling with his wife and differently-abled child when the incident took place. He said the occupants of a large vehicle asked him to reverse, but even then, their vehicle would not have been able to pass. After a verbal exchange, he locked his car, following which the suspect allegedly kicked and punched the vehicle and damaged it.

The complainant suspected that the attacker may have been under the influence of drugs.
