Indian actor debuts with 'The Portal of Force', starring as a key character in fantasy action universe

Indian actor Disha Patani is set to make her Hollywood debut alongside Kevin Spacey in the fantasy action film The Portal of Force, the first instalment in the upcoming “Statiguards vs Holiguards” cinematic universe.

The makers recently released the trailer, introducing Disha as Jessica — a pivotal character described as “the chosen one” in a narrative built around a supernatural clash between two ancient factions.

Created by Lado Okhotnikov, the film follows an emotional and action-driven storyline centred on a conflict between the Statiguards and the Holiguards. The Statiguards represent order and structure that maintain balance in the world, while the Holiguards follow a contrasting ideology that threatens that stability.

At the centre of the story is Jessica, played by Disha, who is revealed to be the daughter of rival leaders from both factions. Her character becomes the bridge between the two worlds and ultimately the deciding force in a conflict that could shape humanity’s fate.

The action thriller is directed by Kevin Spacey and written by Sergey Torchilin and Lado Okhotnikov. The cast also includes Dolph Lundgren, Tyrese Gibson, Brianna Hildebrand, and Eric Roberts.

Speaking about her international debut, the Baaghi 2 actor said stepping into a global project was both exciting and intimidating.
