New roti, naan prices notified

RAWALPINDI:

Authorities have officially issued a new price list for roti, naan, paratha and tea across the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad as well as the Rawalpindi Division, following which tandoors have started selling bread items at revised rates.

According to the notification, a red flour roti will now cost Rs17, while a white flour fermented roti has been fixed at Rs30. Sesame naan will be sold at Rs35, while paratha and roghani naan will cost Rs60 each. Potato paratha has been fixed at Rs80.

The price of a full cup of tea has been increased to Rs100, while a half cup will now cost Rs70.
