Camp Rock 3 releases poster for August release, with Jonas Brothers set to return to the Disney franchise

Camp Rock 3, the third installment in the iconic Disney Channel movie series, has been announced for release in August this year on Disney Channel and Disney+.
The official Instagram page of the film shared a poster featuring members of Jonas Brothers, known in the films as Connect 5. In the centre is Shane Gray, played by Joe Jonas, wearing a jacket that reads: “Disney Camp Rock 3, this August.”
Last December, the franchise also released an official teaser for the upcoming film, showing the boy bands returning to Camp Rock to find the next big star.
The sequel teases returning bands, new campers, and a refreshed cast and crew. However, it reportedly does not feature main character Mitchie Torres, played by Demi Lovato, who is instead serving as an executive producer. Her mother in the films, Connie Torres—played by Maria Canals-Barrera is expected to return.
Fans reacted enthusiastically to the poster, celebrating the return of one of their favourite childhood films, with mentions of new cast members including Huston Stone and Sherry Cola.
Dunkin’ also joined the conversation humourously, referencing Demi Lovato’s iconic “This Is Me” performance from the first film with a playful comment about the “Disney knees.”
The sequel arrives 16 years after Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam premiered in 2010, and 18 years after the first film,Camp Rock released in 2008.
