Indian actor Parineeti Chopra recently attended an event where she candidly spoke about experiencing “mom guilt” after being away from her baby boy.

During the event, the 37-year-old actor became emotional while talking about travelling from Delhi to Mumbai for work. Seeing other mothers with their babies at the venue, she admitted that she found it difficult to stay focused because she missed her son.

“I can’t feel focused because there are so many babies in front of me, and I miss my baby,” she shared on stage. Trying to lighten the emotional moment, Parineeti jokingly repeated to herself, “I am not missing my baby,” as she attempted to calm her emotions.

She also shared her feelings on Instagram while travelling for work, posting a video from her car and writing, “Travelling for work today. The mom guilt is REAL.”

Parineeti got engaged to Indian politician Raghav Chadha in May 2023 in New Delhi. The couple married later that year in a grand ceremony in Udaipur. They welcomed their first child, a son named Neer, in October of 2025.
