Kristen Bell is pushing back on reports claiming she’s earning $60 million to reprise her role as Anna in Frozen 3 and Frozen 4, calling the figures “absurd” and completely inaccurate.

Recent rumors suggested Bell and her co-stars, Idina Menzel and Josh Gad, were each being paid $60 million for the two sequels, totaling $180 million combined. But Bell firmly denied the claims, saying the deal has been widely misreported.

“I think there’s been a lot misreported about that ‘Frozen’ deal,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “No, no, no — that’s somebody making a lot of things up.”

While she admitted the franchise is successful and that she’s grateful for the job, she emphasized the viral salary figure is not true.

The Frozen franchise remains one of Disney’s biggest animated successes. The original 2013 film grossed $1.3 billion worldwide and won two Academy Awards, while Frozen II surpassed it with $1.45 billion at the global box office.

Frozen 3 is set to hit theaters on November 24, 2027, with a fourth installment already in development.
