Ryan Gosling reveals his daughters have watched multiple cuts of Project Hail Mary and offered candid feedback

While promoting his upcoming sci-fi epic Project Hail Mary, Ryan Gosling revealed that his and Eva Mendes’ daughters aren’t shy about critiquing his work.

The Oscar nominee shared that the girls have watched “multiple cuts” of the film and regularly offer feedback.

“They give me lots of notes,” he said with a smile, adding that they’re “very critical and very honest”, and the only critics he truly cares about.

He also laughed off rumors that Mendes was “jealous” of his co-star Rocky, an alien character brought to life through puppetry, clarifying that she’s simply a big fan of the character and wished she could have spent as much time with him as he did on set.

He went on to discuss filming the movie in IMAX, tackling zero-gravity scenes and whether he’d ever consider traveling to space himself.

Project Hail Mary lands in theaters and IMAX on March 20.
