D4vd named target in grand jury probe after Celeste Rivas case documents unsealed
D4vd is named a target in the ongoing probe linked to the death of Celeste Rivas

D4vd has been formally identified as the target of a Los Angeles County grand jury investigation, according to newly unsealed court documents related to the death of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas.
The documents, made public this week, reveal prosecutors are presenting evidence in a potential murder case connected to the discovery of Rivas’ remains inside a Tesla registered to the singer last September.
The vehicle had reportedly been abandoned before tow yard workers alerted authorities to a foul odor.
While the case has been under investigation for months, the unsealing of the grand jury filings marks the first time D4vd has been officially designated in court records as a target of the probe.
He has not been arrested or formally charged.
Rivas had previously been reported missing after leaving her Lake Elsinore home in 2024. Authorities have confirmed the two knew each other.
The investigation remains ongoing.
