Following the news, his on-screen daughter Hilary Duff paid tribute to him on Instagram, reflecting on their close relationship during and after filming the show.

“This one hurts. It’s really hard to face this reality about an old friend,” Duff wrote. She remembered the strong sense of family on set and noted that she always felt supported and cared for by her on-screen parents.

Duff also expressed sorrow upon learning that Carradine had been suffering, extending her condolences to his family and loved ones. Her post included throwback photos that highlighted their bond over the years.
