“Wednesday” Season 3 is officially in production, with four new actors joining the cast of the hit Netflix series.

Chris Sarandon, Noah Taylor, Oscar Morgan and Kennedy Moyer have signed on for the upcoming season, expanding the ensemble as filming gets underway in Dublin, Ireland.

The casting news follows reports that Winona Ryder will guest star in Season 3, while Eva Green is set to play Morticia Addams’ sister. Series creators and showrunners Al Gough and Miles Millar confirmed production has started, teasing new characters and deeper exploration of Addams Family storylines at Nevermore Academy.

Jenna Ortega returns in the title role as Wednesday Addams. Season 2 concluded with Wednesday leaving Nevermore alongside Uncle Fester (Fred Armisen) in an effort to rescue her roommate Enid Sinclair (Emma Myers). Returning cast members also include Hunter Doohan, Joy Sunday, Moosa Mostafa, Georgie Farmer, Isaac Ordonez, Billie Piper, Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo, Victor Dorobantu, Evie Templeton, Luis Guzmán, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Joanna Lumley.

Director and executive producer Tim Burton reunites with past collaborators in Season 3, including Sarandon and Taylor. The series, based on characters created by Charles Addams, is produced by MGM Television.

“Wednesday” continues to be a major success for Netflix. Season 2, released in two parts in August and September 2025, ranks among the platform’s most-watched English-language TV seasons, while Season 1 remains the streamer’s most-viewed English-language season to date.

With new cast additions and expanded Addams Family storylines, anticipation is building for “Wednesday” Season 3 as production moves forward in Ireland.
