Paul Mescal and Gracie Abrams make red carpet debut at 2026 BAFTA Awards
Paul Mescal and Gracie Abrams appear together publicly at 2026 BAFTA Awards in London

Paul Mescal and Gracie Abrams made their first red carpet appearance as a couple at the 2026 BAFTA Awards in London.
The pair attended the ceremony at the Royal Festival Hall on February 22, posing together for photographs as they arrived. The event marked their public debut on a red carpet since being romantically linked in June 2024.
Abrams, 26, wore a black gown featuring floral designs and styled her hair in a slicked-back look, with part tucked behind her ear. Mescal, 29, opted for a black jacket and trousers with a white dress shirt worn open at the collar.
Mescal received a nomination for best supporting actor for his portrayal of William Shakespeare in the film Hamnet. The awards ceremony is one of the most prominent dates in the British film calendar.
The BAFTA appearance came approximately one month after the couple were photographed together following the 2026 Golden Globe Awards.
They were seen heading to Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles after the ceremony, where Hamnet won Best Motion Picture (Drama) and Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture Drama for Mescal’s co-star Jessie Buckley. The two were pictured holding hands as they arrived at the afterparty.
Mescal has previously spoken about keeping his personal life private. In a September interview with Rolling Stone, he addressed questions about going public with his relationship.
“I actually do have an answer, but everything to do with that is deeply precious to me and I don’t want to. ... This isn’t … I don’t really … umm … I want to protect those things fundamentally,” he said.
The BAFTA Awards appearance signals a rare joint public outing for the couple as Mescal’s awards season campaign for Hamnet continues.
