Alex Warren has been confirmed as a performer at the Brit Awards 2026, organizers announced, adding to a lineup that includes Harry Styles, Olivia Dean, Wolf Alice, Mark Ronson and Rosalía.

According to the official BRIT Awards announcement, the 2026 ceremony will take place on Saturday, Feb. 28, at Manchester’s Co-op Live arena, marking the event’s debut in the city. The show will air live on ITV and ITVX, with comedian Jack Whitehall returning as host.

Warren’s appearance follows a breakout year in 2025. Organizers noted that his single “Ordinary” achieved triple Platinum certification in the U.K., topped the U.K. Singles Chart and became the longest-running No. 1 by a U.S. artist in the country this decade. In the United States, the track spent 10 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and ranked among the year’s top-selling songs.

His debut album, You’ll Be Alright, Kid, released in July, reached No. 1 on the U.K. Albums Chart and produced six Top 40 singles. The album was certified Platinum after surpassing one million sales and remained in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 for 13 non-consecutive weeks, according to the announcement.

Warren, who won Best New Artist at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards and earned a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist in 2026, is also nominated for International Song of the Year at this year’s BRIT Awards for “Ordinary.” In a statement shared by organizers, he said the U.K. was where the song “first broke and changed my life,” adding that he looks forward to performing at the ceremony for the first time.

The 2026 nominations are led by Olivia Dean and Lola Young with five nominations each, followed by Sam Fender with four. Additional British nominees include Lily Allen, Calvin Harris, JADE, Ed Sheeran, Little Simz, PinkPantheress, RAYE, Skye Newman and Wet Leg. Pulp received their first nomination since 1996.

International nominees include Bad Bunny, Doechii, Rosalía, Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, Taylor Swift, HAIM and Tame Impala. Cynthia Erivo is also recognized for her performance of “Defying Gravity,” while “Golden” from HUNTR/X received a nomination.

Organizers also confirmed details of the BRITs Fringe, a citywide program celebrating Manchester’s music heritage and emerging talent ahead of the ceremony. The event continues its long-standing partnership with Mastercard as headline sponsor, while ITV marks its 34th year as official broadcaster.

Proceeds from the awards support The BRIT Trust, the charitable arm of the event, which funds organizations focused on music education and wellbeing, including The BRIT School and Nordoff and Robbins Music Therapy, according to the official release.
