BTS are opening up about their next chapter, revealing that their upcoming album reflects a more “mature” sound and mindset as they reunite as a full group.

In a recent interview, the global superstars said their new project captures how much they’ve grown both personally and creatively over the past few years. With members exploring solo work and navigating major life changes, the group explained that their music now feels more introspective and grounded than ever before.

The band also spoke candidly about the Grammys an award they’ve long been nominated for but never won. While they said a win would still be meaningful, it’s no longer something they feel desperate to achieve.

Leader RM shared that they may submit their music again but emphasised that they don’t want to be “desperately eager” for recognition, making it clear their priorities have shifted.

Instead, BTS say their focus now is on making honest music and staying connected to their fans. The members noted that success for them today is less about trophies and more about growth, storytelling and authenticity.

Their upcoming album, expected to arrive in 2026, will mark their first full group release in several years and signals a new era for the band — one defined by maturity, reflection and creative freedom.
