Lukas Gage has officially joined the cast of Amazon MGM Studios’ upcoming film Clashing Through the Snow, starring alongside Christopher Briney and Michelle Randolph.

The project, produced by Wonderland Sound and Vision, is gearing up to begin production later this month.

Directed by filmmaker Carlson Young, the movie is described as a modern take on the classic travel comedy formula popularized by Planes, Trains and Automobiles, aiming to resonate with a new generation of viewers. The film is being produced by McG and Mary Viola, with Lena Roklin also attached as a producer. Executive producers include Industry Entertainment’s Kyle Luker and Oscar-winning filmmaker Ari Sandel.

The screenplay was written by Daniel Mackey and Rebecca Ewing, who previously collaborated on Netflix’s Love Hard, a strong performer for the streaming platform.

Gage continues to build an impressive résumé in both television and film. He gained widespread recognition for his breakout role as Dillon in HBO’s Emmy-winning limited series The White Lotus. More recently, he appeared in Paramount’s box office success Smile 2 and starred in Companion alongside Sophie Thatcher and Jack Quaid. His credits also include the Amazon MGM feature Road House, where he shared the screen with Jake Gyllenhaal and Connor McGregor.

Looking ahead, Gage is set to appear in Rosebush Pruning, premiering at the Berlin Film Festival, and the independent feature Love Language opposite Chloë Grace Moretz. On television, he will star in Hulu’s revival of Prison Break.

With a growing cast and experienced creative team, Clashing Through the Snow is shaping up to be a notable addition to Amazon MGM Studios’ upcoming slate.
