Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl LX halftime show has prompted widespread reaction from fellow artists, collaborators and public figures, following his 13-minute performance at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara on Sunday.

The Puerto Rican artist shared the stage with guests including Ricky Martin, Lady Gaga, Karol G and Cardi B, and concluded the set with the messages “The only thing more powerful than hate is love” and “Together, We Are America”. The performance led to an immediate response across social media platforms.

Colombian singer Li Saumet of Bomba Estéreo wrote on Instagram that seeing Bad Bunny perform on one of the world’s largest stages made her think “about how far we’ve come” and what once felt impossible. She added that the moment reflected collective progress and representation within Latin music.

Kacey Musgraves reacted on X, writing, “Well, that made me feel more proudly American than anything Kid Rock has ever done.” Rapper Doechii also posted on the platform, stating, “Bad Bunny WOW! F–king, WOW. History.”

Ricky Martin, who appeared during the performance, shared an image with Bad Bunny and Lady Gaga, writing on Instagram that he needed time to process the emotions he was feeling. Puerto Rican rapper Residente posted “Orgulloso de ti x100pre”, referencing Bad Bunny’s debut album, alongside photos of the pair together.

Other Puerto Rican artists also shared messages of support. Jay Wheeler wrote, “¡Felicidades Benito! ¡Qué orgullo!”, while Rauw Alejandro posted “PUERTO RICO” on X.

Ahead of the performance, Jennifer Lopez and Shakira both shared messages wishing Bad Bunny well. Lopez wrote that she was sending him love and support, while Shakira reflected on their previous Super Bowl collaboration and wished him success.

The range of reactions highlighted the cultural impact of the halftime show and its resonance across music communities.
