The highly anticipated Harry Potter TV series from HBO has found not one but two actors to portray the Boy Who Lived.

Following the earlier announcement of Dominic McLaughlin as the lead, studio bosses have now cast Isaac Geut as his body double for the new adaptation based on J.K. Rowling’s beloved book series.

According to production insiders, Geut has “the perfect mop of thick black hair and boyish looks” needed to resemble a young Harry Potter. Producers are reportedly so impressed with his likeness that they plan to use him more extensively than past doubles featured in the film series. His role will cover scenes where dialogue isn’t required, allowing the production to film in multiple locations simultaneously.

Recently, Geut was spotted filming in Kynance Cove, Cornwall, alongside Daniel Rigby and Amos Kitson, who portray Uncle Vernon and Dudley Dursley. These scenes also featured Jon Lithgow as Dumbledore, marking his first on-set appearance in the role.

Dominic McLaughlin, meanwhile, continues to lead the project, which will debut in 2027. The series also stars Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley. Earlier this summer, the cast was seen recreating the iconic zoo scene from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone at London Zoo.

With its mix of new talent and fresh creative direction, HBO’s Harry Potter reboot promises to reimagine the magic for a new generation of fans.
