The feud between Taylor Swift and Charli XCX continues to dominate headlines as fans speculate which celebrity leaked Charli’s alleged “boring Barbie” comment to Swift.

The drama began after Taylor’s new track Actually Romantic dropped, where she sings about an “obsessed hater” who called her that nickname — sparking widespread theories about who told her.

Swift’s song is rumored to target Charli XCX, whose Brat album painted her as a wild, party-loving artist. The pair’s overlapping connections — including The 1975 members Matty Healy and George Daniel, whom Taylor and Charli were romantically linked to — only deepen the intrigue.

Online sleuths have named several suspects in the so-called “snitch hunt.” Sabrina Carpenter, one of Taylor’s protégés and a collaborator on Life of a Showgirl, is a leading theory due to her ties to both singers. Producer Jack Antonoff and his wife Margaret Qualley are also under suspicion, given Jack’s close work with both artists.

Other names in the mix include Lorde, who appeared on Charli’s Brat remix, as well as Selena Gomez, Zoe Kravitz, Gracie Abrams, and even Taylor’s ex, Matty Healy. Fans believe one of these insiders might have tipped Taylor off about Charli’s rumored digs, fueling her latest lyrical retaliation.

While neither star has publicly confirmed a feud, Swift’s subtle lyrical shade and Charli’s silence continue to keep fans guessing. With both women commanding massive followings, the mystery “celebrity snitch” theory has turned into one of pop culture’s biggest whodunits — and it doesn’t seem to be dying down anytime soon.
