Prime Video has unveiled the official trailer for season two of Maxton Hall – The World Between Us, confirming its release date for November 7, 2025.
The German drama, based on Mona Kasten’s bestselling novel series Save You, continues the story of Ruby Bell (Harriet Herbig-Matten) and James Beaufort (Damian Hardung).
Following the events of season one, Ruby appears to have everything she wants after a romantic night in Oxford. However, the new trailer shows her happiness shaken by family tragedy in James’ life, driving conflict between them. Despite the obstacles, James is determined to win Ruby back, even as his father pressures him to stay away from her.
The footage teases emotional highs and lows, including a shocking party scene where Ruby witnesses James kissing another girl. With love, grief, and class differences in play, Ruby and James must navigate whether their relationship can withstand the turmoil.
Returning cast members include Sonja Weißer, Ben Felipe, Fedja van Huêt, Runa Greiner, Justus Riesner, Andrea Guo, Frederic Balonier, and Eli Riccardi. Martin Schreier directs season two, with Markus Brunnemann and Ceylan Yildirim producing for UFA Fiction.
Season one of Maxton Hall became Amazon’s biggest-ever international launch, achieving record-breaking viewership worldwide. The success also brought Kasten’s trilogy to U.S. readers, with Save Me and Save You now available and Save Us set for release on November 4, 2025.
Maxton Hall season two will stream exclusively on Prime Video starting November 7.
