The story of Charlie Kirk’s shocking assassination has taken a darker and stranger turn, as a self-proclaimed witch has stepped forward with claims of regret. Priestess Lilin, who says she was among those allegedly contacted by Jezebel to perform a spell against the conservative activist, has now spoken out, offering to privately correspond with Kirk’s widow Erika. Her words have fuelled already wild speculation surrounding politics, witchcraft, and tragedy.
The priestess insists the rituals were never meant to cause physical harm. She described her work as rooted in spirituality and energy, rather than violence. Still, Lilin admitted the fallout has been immense, saying she has faced death threats, public backlash, and bans from online platforms where she once offered spells. Some of these rituals allegedly promised to damage careers, relationships, or reputations. Among them were the so-called Infernal Justice Black Magick Spell and the Generational Black Magic Curse.
Two days before Kirk’s assassination, Jezebel had published an article that described hiring witches online to hex him, claiming the process was as casual as buying a phone charger. The post detailed spells allegedly involving the burning of Kirk’s photograph. After his death, the article was swiftly pulled, but by then the story had spread. Jezebel has since condemned the shooting and insisted the piece was satirical, but many argue the experiment crossed ethical lines.
Megyn Kelly later revealed that both Charlie and Erika took the curse seriously enough to contact a Catholic priest to pray over him the night before his murder. She described Erika as deeply shaken by the idea of strangers wishing supernatural harm upon her husband. Erika, leaning on her faith, publicly rejected the power of such spells, but the fear and uncertainty remain tied to her grief.
Now, with Lilin’s public expression of regret, questions about the overlap between online witchcraft culture and real-world events have intensified. While the priestess maintains her magic is about protection and healing, her alleged involvement has left a chilling shadow over the legacy of Charlie Kirk’s final days.
