Post Malone made his official entry into the fashion world on Monday night in Paris, unveiling his debut collection under his new label, Austin Post.
The show, held at the historic Hôtel de Bourdon – Maison Pozzo di Borgo — once home to fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld — featured a surprise finale: a live horse walking the runway.
The rapper and singer, whose real name is Austin Richard Post, introduced “Season One: At First Light,” a collection inspired by Western Americana, blending influences from his Texas roots and Utah ranch lifestyle.
According to a press release shared with GQ, the designs fuse Dallas western heritage with Southwestern motifs, offering pieces like embroidered denim, fringe leather jackets, plaid shirts, and cowboy hats.
Speaking with WWD, Malone described the collection as “what I would wear now,” adding, “I’m 30 years old, man… the product me and the team have created is really special and speaks to me.” He emphasized the importance of affordability, saying, “I’d like people to actually wear it and enjoy it… for years to come.”
The collection’s exclusive footwear was provided by Texas-based Lucchese Bootmaker, while Los Angeles eyewear brand Jacques-Marie Mage contributed accessories, reflecting Malone’s affinity for turquoise and Western detailing.
The event attracted Paris-based fashion editors, music artists like A$AP Nast, and retailers such as Dover Street Market and Selfridges. Bosse Myhr of Selfridges praised the show for tapping into a broader trend of Americana-inspired fashion and cultural storytelling.
Malone’s fashion venture runs alongside his “Big Ass World Tour,” with a Paris concert set for later this week. He is also planning a New York showcase on September 19–20 to launch his Foundation Collection, a permanent line based on his personal wardrobe.
