'Suits' star Wendell Pierce shares advice he gave to Meghan Markle before Prince Harry royal wedding

He offered her support and friendship as her life was about to change dramatically.

Wendell Pierce has revealed the parting advice he gave Meghan Markle on their final day filming 'Suits' together.

Wendell Pierce co-starred with Meghan Markle on the legal drama "Suits," which ran from 2011 to 2019.

Markle departed the show in 2017, announcing her retirement from acting that same year to focus on her royal duties following her engagement to Prince Harry.

Pierce in an interview with E! News recalled a moment when he spoke to Markle about the whirlwind changes her life would face.

“I’m always reminded of the last day working with Meghan... I said, ‘Meghan, your life is going to be a whirlwind...’ I just want you to remember that no matter what happens, you always have friends and I hope you count me in that number.'”

Pierce confessed it was tough staying in touch after she married Prince Harry, but their move to California has allowed for reconnecting.

He admires her greatly: “She’s wonderful. She’s wonderful as both [an actress and a person]. She’s the nicest person ever…I actually, the one thing that bothers me the most right now for Meghan is the fact that I know she would love to act again.”
