The malicious designs of the PTI and its chief Imran Khan to malign the image of the state institutions particularly Pakistan Army, stand exposed during the on-going investigations, said Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon.

In a statement issued on Thursday, he said that as soon as the news of a missing helicopter of Pakistan Army in Balochistan broke on August 1, 2022, a wave of concern spread across the country. The entire Pakistani nation was praying for the well-being of Pakistan Army personnel on board the helicopter, only the workers and supporters of PTI were running shameful and hateful campaign on social media regarding this incident.

This campaign of PTI against the Pakistan Army intensified when the news came on the second day that all the officers in the helicopter were martyred.

The PTI leadership tried to give an impression that it has nothing to do with the campaign, and it was all reflecting a reaction of random people. Now all the secrets are being revealed and links are being found. The social media accounts were found connected to the PTI and Imran Khan's confidant Shehbaz Gill's reprehensible statement about Pakistan Army also came after this campaign. This means that everything is being done consciously.
