
An earthquake measuring 3.0 on the Richter scale struck some areas of Karachi on Wednesday. The tremors were felt in Landhi, Korangi and Malir at 5:16pm, while no casualties have been reported. According to Pakistan Meteorological Department, the earthquake’s epicentre was at a distance of 40 kilometres to the north, at a depth of 10km, posing no threat to the city.
