Collision between a bus and an oil tanker because of speeding

MANANWALA: Two people were killed while 13 others were injured in a collision between a bus and an oil tanker at Jat Nagar Stop on Sheikhupura-Faisalabad Road near Manawala.

Rescue 1122 and locals shifted the injured to Tehsil Headquarter Hospital where they are currently under treatment. Reportedly, the bus was on its way to Faisalabad from Sialkot.

Three killed, one injured in truck-car collision

Among the injured were 27-year-old Ashfaq, 40-year-old Arshad, 26-year-old Wasim, 25-year-old Shahbaz, 38-year-old Nadeem, 32-year-old Abid, 43-year-old Rehana and 25-year-old Khalda. Most of the people aboard the bus were on their way to meet their friends and relatives. After the incident, police reached the spot. Police have registered cases against both the drivers.

Officials said that traffic police regularly inform drivers to refrain from speeding. However, they still continue to drive their vehicle at high speeds.
