Three killed, one injured in incidents

SARGODHA: Three persons were killed while another sustained injuries in separate incidents on Monday.

Police officials said that Nadir Abbas, along with his wife Nabeela, was travelling on a motorcycle in Faisalabad Road when a car hit the two-wheeler. As a result, Nasir died on the spot. The injured woman was shifted to a hospital.

Separately, a speeding truck hit to death a motorcyclist near Mogian Chowk and fled.

Five killed in road accidents

Moreover, a man was murdered by his son-in-law over a domestic dispute. Police officials said that Parveen Bibi quarreled with her husband Irfan of Bhalwal over domestic affairs and left for her parents' home. Irfan tried to settle matters with his wife when his father-in-law, Salah Muhammad. In a fit of rage, Irfan allegedly shot dead Salah and fled.
