Minister vows resolution of people’s problems

Hassani says all resources will be utilised to maintain law and order

The incumbent provincial government is taking concrete measures to resolve the issues of the far-flung areas for the welfare and betterment of the people, the Balochistan finance minister says.

Arif Jan Muhammad Hassani expressed these views while addressing an open court (Khuli Katchehri) in Nokundi on Monday.

Former Chagai District Council member Khan Muhammad Asif Sanjrani along with other district representatives apprised the minister of the various difficulties faced by the people.

The finance minister said, “I am a public representative. I have achieved this respect through your votes. I am answerable to you people. We will not upset anyone. Together, we will work for the development of Chagai as well as Nokundi.”

Hassani said that maintaining law and order, providing basic health facilities and addressing educational problems were his utmost priorities.

“No one can take bribe by using my name nor bother any department or officer,” he said. “We will not rest until an end is put to bribery at the Chagai check posts.”

He said Chagai would be made a district of peace. “We have received reports of robbery and dacoity,” the minister added.

“The Levies force has been equipped with latest weaponry and given complete authority. Wherever they (Levies force personnel) encounter robbers and dacoits, arrest them and they (robbers and dacoits) will be severely punished according to the law."

“The lives and property of the citizens will be protected at all costs.”

He announced that the building of Nokundi Central Boys High School would be renovated and stand among the ranks of model schools. “The water supply scheme will be completed very soon so that the water problem can be solved. A meeting will be held with the officers to complete the work on the scheme as quickly as possible,” the minister added.
