Accused threatens to lodge fake cases against victim’s family

RAHIM YAR KHAN: A woman has accused her father-in-law of sexually assaulting her multiple times in the absence of her husband, Express News reported.

I*, a resident of Moza Kabirwala, Liaquatpur, alleged that Y* assaulted her on a number of occasions, while also threatening her of dire consequences if she ever told anyone.

“After my husband used to go to work, my father-in-law would molest me and would beat me up if I refused to comply with his demands,” the victim said.

Victim’s mother G* told the police that she had married off her daughter to K* some 15 years ago. “However, after a few years, her father-in-law started sexually assaulting her when she used to be alone in the house,” she lamented.

She maintained that the accused also threatened to lodge fake cases against them if they reported the incident to the police.

She appealed to higher police officials to take action against the brutality of the assaulter who kept abusing her daughter-in-law in the absence of her husband.

Meanwhile, police have registered a case against the suspect and are conducting raids to arrest him.

Earlier this year, a girl was repeatedly raped by her father in Faisalabad’s Chak Jhumra area.

Man attempts to rape 11-year-old in Lahore

The victim’s mother T*, a resident of Chak No 199-RB, Fakharabad, worked as a maid in the area, while her husband, A*, worked as a labourer at a factory.

She alleged that A* had been allegedly sexually abusing their 15-year-old daughter R*for several months while she was alone at the house.

She said as a result of the repeated rape, her daughter had become pregnant. She said A* also threatened their daughter of dire consequences if she told anyone about the ordeal.
