FC personnel commits suicide in Karachi

KARACHI: A Frontier Corps (FC) personnel shot himself dead at the force headquarters in Karachi on Sunday, police said.

Sepoy Nayab Khan, 37, was found dead inside his room, with initial investigation suggesting he committed suicide by shooting himself with an official sub-machine gun (SMG), SHO Chaudhry Saeed said.



The personnel, whose body was shifted to the Civil hospital, Karachi, was suffering from depression, added Saeed.

Meanwhile, police collected evidence, as well as recorded statements of the deceased's colleagues.
