Children’s hospital building to be completed by December: DCO

FAISALABAD:

DCO Noorul Amin Mengal said on Saturday that the second block of Children’s Hospital would become operational by December.

Talking to newsmen, the DCO said construction on the block was underway. He said Rs5 billion had been allocated for hospital. He said it was the biggest hospital for children in Asia. He said the hospital administration would offer counselling for parents of patients.

He said posters in this regard had been set up around the building. The DCO also visited the outdoor patients’ department and directed the medical superintendent to launch an awareness campaign for parents regarding preventive measures against epidemics.
