The incident sparked protests among local residents, prompting the district administration to take immediate action.Dog culling teams were dispatched to the area to control the stray dog population.
Residents, however, alleged that despite official claims, effective measures have not been implemented across the district, and children continue to fall victim to dog attacks on a daily basis.
