Confusing case: Arshad Pappu’s wife, son missing

The court, however, rejected his justification and asked him to produce them in the next hearing on August 27

KARACHI: The anti-terrorism court hearing the murder case of Arshad Pappu and his aides allowed on Saturday more time to the investigating officer to find the missing wife and son of the notorious gangster. The IO, inspector Abid Ansari, submitted a report to the court contending that he remained unable to locate the whereabouts of the duo, who are believed to be crucial witnesses in the case. In the report, he stated his previous stance that the mother and son are not residing at the addresses available to them and have reportedly moved to some place in Sakran, Balochistan. Ansari said that they were named witnesses by the then Lyari SP, who is now posted in interior Sindh, and submitted that he may be called to present them. The court, however, rejected his justification and asked him to produce them in the next hearing on August 27.
