Sad occurrence: Three men drown while fishing

HYDERABAD: Three young men drowned near the shore of the Almani Farm in the Mirpur Sakro tehsil of Thatta at around 10am on Sunday. The deceased belonged to the Babur Market area in Landhi, Karachi. The Mirpurkhas Sakro police station SHO, Liaquat Jiskani, said that two of the victims were pulled out minutes after the incident, while it took the local divers at least five hours to fish out the third body. The deceased have been identified as 27-year-old Hamza, 22-year-old Shahzad and 18-year-old Ayaz. Jiskani said that the three men were fishing in deep water when they were hit by a high wave causing them to lose their balance and capsize.
