Mysterious Death: Servant’s body found from MNA’s house

HYDERABAD: The body of an elderly watchman was found from the Dadu residence of former education minister Pir Mazharul Haq and his son, MPA Pir Mujeebul Haq, on Thursday. Ali Nawaz Joyo, 50, who had served the family for around two decades, was found hanging from the ceiling fan in one of the servant quarters. The police are investigating the possibilities of both suicide and murder. The deceased’s brother alleged that he was poisoned before being hanged. However, according to SHO Akbar Chandio, no suspect has been named in the investigation. The family took the body to their village for burial but it was taken back to the hospital by the police for the post-mortem before being returned to the heirs for the funeral rites.
