Forecast: Rain likely in Islamabad, Pindi

PMD forecast dust storm in Multan and Bahawalpur divisions.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast rain and thundershower at isolated places of Rawalpindi and Islamabad on Saturday. Rain is also expected at isolated places in Kashmir, Gujranwala and Hazara divisions during on Friday night and Saturday. PMD forecast dust storm in Multan and Bahawalpur divisions. Mainly very hot and humid weather will continue in rest of the country on Saturday. According to synoptic situation, seasonal low lies over northern Balochistan and its trough is extending southeastward. Weak moist currents are penetrating Kashmir and upper parts of Punjab. Highest temperature recorded on Friday was 45° degrees Celsius Sibbi, 44° degrees at Dalbandin, Bhakkar, Dadu, Noorpur Thal and Nokkundi, 43° degrees at Bahawalnagar, Rahim Yar Khan, Rohri, Mianwali, Bahawalpur, Moenjodharo, Larkana and Shaheed Banazirabad. Islamabad recorded 39°, Lahore 42°, Karachi 34°, Peshawar 41°, Quetta 370°, Skardu 33°, Murree 27°, Muzaffarabad 40°, Gilgit 36°, Faisalabad 41°, Multan 41°, Hyderabad 38°.
