Wanted target killer arrested in Karachi

KARACHI: Crime Investigation Department’s (CID) special investigation unit has claimed to have arrested target killer wanted in cases of ethnic and sectarian target killing cases from SITE Town on Wednesday.

Police claimed that Inayatullah alias Raisani had been apprehended after an encounter in the Metroville area of SITE town. The CID special investigation unit in-charge Mohammad Fayyaz told the media that they had recovered a 30-caliber pistol and two hand grenades from his possession.

Officials said that the accused had a Rs500,000 head money on and was wanted in a number of murder cases.

According to Fayyaz, Inayatullah along with his accomplices had killed lawyers and doctors including Dr Khan Zafar, Advocate Kawser Saqlain, Tailor Master Naeem Hasan and other lawyers in the areas of Lyari, Musharraf Colony and Maripur.
