Pakistan embassy will provide all the help, encouragement and facilitation to China to encourage their investment in the country, said Pakistan Ambassador to China Masood Khalid yesterday.
Khalid was talking to senior chief executive officers of different Chinese entities already working in Pakistan and potential investors from energy, infrastructure, and communications sectors.
During Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s visit to China in July, both countries had signed eight cooperative agreements and memorandum of understanding to further enhance economic cooperation. Khalid held separate meetings with Chinese firms at the two-day, 5th China Overseas Investment Fair. He said that the Pakistan China Economic Corridor, a mega project, will prove to be a catalyst in regional connectivity ultimately benefitting people from all segments of the society.
