KARACHI:

Baloch FC from Noushki registered their first win in the Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) as they defeated Pak-Afghan Clearing Agency (Paca) 1-0 in Karachi yesterday.

Baloch FC, who lost their last match to Muslim FC 3-0, bounced back into the league with this victory, having given debutants Paca a tough competition right from the beginning.

Baloch FC striker Asif Khan scored the winner in the 28th minute of the match.

This was Baloch FC’s first win, earning them three points as they replaced ZTBL in 13th position with four points from three matches. They lost two matches earlier and drew one.

Meanwhile, Paca experienced their first defeat yesterday. The Chaman-based team has played four matches so far and are in the ninth place with five points. They drew two matches and won one earlier.

“It was a good match and an encouraging one for Baloch FC,” a match-official told The Express Tribune. “They have been one of the weaker sides in the league, so they will gain some confidence from this victory.”
